With the technological development, nowadays the utilization of water resources increasingly diverse. River as abundant water resources in Indonesia became potential alternative for power plants. These are in line with the fact that demand for electricity continues to grow each year.

Saddang rivers in Tana Toraja has an average annual discharge of 129.9 m3 /sec . Thus Saddang river became a river with huge potential for generating electrical energy.

In accordance with the vision and mission of PT Malea Energy, the selection of the construction site in eastern Indonesia aims to develop the region through infrastructure development and hydroelectricity.

Power Plant 2X45 MW

Construction of Power Plant PT. Malea Energy is located in South Sulawesi. Intake location is in Makale Selatan District with coordinates point E.119° 47′ 33″, N. 3° 7′ 44″ & Power House is in Bonggakaradeng District with the coordinates of E. 119° 44′ 54″, N.3° 11′ 25”. With Total power generation capacity 90 MW, Head DAS Saddang, debit ±363 m³/second, Wide area 6.639 km². The PPA term is 30 years with an annual production target of 474 GWh/year.
